2012 Olympic Torchbearer

In March 2012 Aimee had the honour of being confirmed as the London Borough of Havering's London 2012 lead Olympic Torchbearer. Aimee was selected after she shared her inspirational story of perseverance, determination & dedication.

Record Breaking Success

In February 2013 at the WKF Junior European Karate Championships in Turkey, Aimee became the first Junior English female to reach two consecutive individual European Kata finals winning two silvers and with Team Kata became the first to win two Kata medals at the same championship.

 England National Kata Coach

 

As a highly successful Karate athlete herself, Aimee developed a National Youth Kata program for young athletes 10-13 years old to help prepare them for National Squads. In December 2016 Aimee was appointed by the Board of the EKF to the position of England National Junior Kata Coach too.
